A police bulletproof vest, belt, badge, baton and hat belonging to a woman police officer were in her car when it was stolen from her home.
The 47-year-old WPC attached to the San Fernando Police Station reported she parked and locked her white Toyota Aqua in the front yard of her home at Corinth Hills, Ste Madeleine, at 10 pm on Wednesday.
She left her police-issued bulletproof vest, belt, badge, baton and hat in the car. However, the following day, around 6.15am she realised that her car was missing. The vehicle did not have GPS. PC Rambhajan and a party from the Ste Madeleine Police Station visited the scene. Inquiries are continuing.
